Our beloved Clover Dover Hopkins, words cannot express the pain of losing you.
I will miss your hugs, love, and that wiggly tail, man that would so put a smile on my face, it never stopped. You came into mine and Hopie’s life when your momma passed away. When she asked me a few weeks before her passing to take you in, I didn’t know what to say. I knew I had to relieve her of the stress of making sure her Clover was cared for. She said I would love you, Man do I.
My heart is broken, Hopie’s heart is broken, your fight was amazing, just like your momma’s. You taught me how to be a strong warrior.I hope you knew how much you meant to me and how loved you was/are.
You will forever hold a place in my heart, I will forever be grateful that your momma entrusted you with me. I will cherish all the memories.
I need to say Thank you, not only for being a light in my life, my leaning post when my dad passed, but for your enormous impact on Hopie and her fear of humans, love and trust.
Hopie is grieving hard, you was her BFF, her mentor, her therapy friend, you taught her so much. Clover you were so perfect and good, it’s always the good ones that get taken from us.
Clover you are now reunited with your momma. I know you gave her one of your super-duper hugs when you saw her. Those hugs were the best, I will truly miss them and you and that tail.
We all LOVE you!
Run Pain free and spread your love, give out all them super-duper hugs but save one for me!
