Chunky Surber

To my buddy, Some say I saved you, not true at all; you saved me in the darkest time of my life. And I am so Thankful for that. You taught me how to love and to look past others flaws and to never turn your back on anything in need. You taught me the meaning of dedication, devotion and companionship, and love toward other people or animals. I am so grateful to have had you a part of my life and I’m so sorry we couldn’t fight that devil off together; no amount of money in the world could have killed that devil. I would have done anything for you, anything for you. If I could have taken them things from you I would have. You were my life, my world, my rock, my BFF and my stinky dog, My CHUNK CHUNK, and I LOVE YOU with all my heart. My life will never be the same; I have this pain in my heart and soul that hurts and stings so bad. I don’t believe it will ever heal. You and I had a unique relationship, bond, and friendship; you loved me and I knew it. I knew what we had was very special. I will cherish every memory; every night we sat outside together, our conversations, our golf cart rides, our truck rides, kissing your head and waving bye every morning, you watching every move I made, me racing you to the bed so I can get under the blankets before you got there, you getting up on your back legs for mommy to pick you up, and all of our time together I will forever cherish. I know you and I felt you weren’t a dog; when I would talk to you, you would look me in the eyes and give me your full attention. When I coughed, you came running to check on me to make sure I was alright. When I needed a shoulder to cry on, you were there for me. There were many times I held you tight and cried for hours but you didn’t mind at all.  I am at such a loss without you, the shop isn’t the same, and my life isn’t the same, my world isn’t the same. My life revolved around you and now I don’t know what to do. I know how much you loved the bike, so mommy took you for a long ride the day I got you back. I made promises to you and I will keep them.  Please don’t worry about me; mommy will be fine because I have all of my angels looking over me, and my very special one who lived for me and me only. I sure hope you knew how much you meant to me and how much I loved you. I hope and pray you never felt alone or not loved and you knew how SPECIAL you really were. Thank you for your unconditional love. King of the Shop “Killer Beast”….I know Aunt Kelly misses and loves you a lot too, even though she made it on your shit list for yelling at me. Chunky you will always hold a very special place in my heart and I will never forget you.  I hurt so much for you, words cannot express the pain. I love you Chunk Chunk and will forever Miss You and your life lessons. Thank you for making me a better person.  I Love you, Mommy…. You and Monkey Butt are back together again………..
