LITTLE MENDY SUE ~ August 13, 2004 ~ February 8, 2014 Shih Tzu and Rat Terrier mix She was a very special dog with a unique personality. Mendy came to us after we had lost our last pet. I was crying one day over the loss of Little Dog. Mendy jumped up and started to lick away the tears, as if she knew I was hurting. That was the day she won my heart. She went everywhere with us lways ready to get into something. Lake, pond, stream, or creek, it didn’t matter, if it was water she was in it. She loved it so much she even learned to ski behind the boat. A real water rat. Let the snow-fall, she was ready to play. She looked like a little bunny jumping from one spot to another in the snow with those little short legs. She loved everyone she met. She would do little tricks for the kids. For example: They would blow in her face and ask does my breath stink? Mendy would sit up and with both paws rub her nose, unless they had eaten something good, then she would lick them right on the mouth. You could say Mendy if a duck goes quack quack, and a cat goes meow, how does a doggy go and she would bark. Say well if a cow goes moo how does Mendy go, and she would growl a low growl. Heah she was something else. Mendy you took a big big part of our hearts when you left us, but we were blessed to have had you in our lives. We will always remember and love you dearly, you precious baby girl. Til we meet again. Love Mom, Daddy Dog & Family

Mendy, I never had the pleasure of meeting you, but I did hear you do some of your tricks over the phone once.. you are a very smart and cute girl. And you have the best Mommy ever, who loves you soo much it hurts.. I am imagining you swimming and playing in heaven like the free girl you are.
